  5. Hello Tiffykins. I am back, have lost 72 pounds total since July, I just want to let you know again that You have been a great inspiration. Thanks From Cathy I want to read all your recent comments soon. And look at your photos.

  6. Hello to all,

I am doing ok, I am going through a stall on my weight loss now. One good thing is that I am under 200 pounds, around 195-196 pounds. I was up to 266 in July before surgery and I was at 232 pre-op. I am really happy with what I have lost so far, but now I am going to have to exercise more often and eat much better if I am going to reach my goal of 145. Happy Destiny it is very normal to feel excited and fearful the closer you get to your surgery date. The same thing happened to me, but I have no regrets of having the surgery. The sleeve is a great tool to help to lose weight by restricting what you eat at one sitting. We still have to be careful how many times we eat each day and how many calories we put into our bodies. I am just hoping that I can do what is needed to maintain a healthier weight.

TDELYTE I hope you are doing ok, Have you had surgery yet?

  7. Welcome to the Sleeve Forum. I hope you get answers to your questions. I hope your surgery goes well. I am glad to see that you are doing this at an early age. I am 55 years and I wish I could have had this done years ago. Well I am so happy that I finally had it done on Dec. 2, 2009 and now my journey has really begun. I started out at 257 lbs. a year ago, went up to 266 in July, down to 232 the night before surgery and now I am at 201. I have no regrets. Please keep coming back to let us know how you are progressing. Thank you for starting a new thread. I was scared in the beginning when I decided to have a sleeve instead of the Band, but my fears became less and less after reading more and more postings on here and seeing all the good results others were having from the sleeve. It gets easier at time goes on.

I had the sleeve done on Dec.2 and have not regretted it at all. I have lost 16 pounds since the day before surgery. I started my weigh-ins in Feb. of this year at 257, then my weight went up to 266 in July. I was so happy today, because since July I have lost 50 pounds total. I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Congratualations on your 40 pounds lost!! Wow and that is only since Oct. 13. I have not been on the forum for quite some time, because we are having some trouble with our internet services and I have been so busy. I am hoping to get back on here more often now. I sure have missed chatting with everyone.

I wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. You have really came a long way since your surgery. I enjoyed looking at your photos and I am happy to see that you have lost over 100 pounds.

  22. Wow, your ticker tells me you have lost 40 pounds and Charitymarroquin was congratulating you on making it to onederland. How does it feel to be in the hundreds? I have a ways to go before I get there. I have about 17 more pounds to go before I drop below the 200 mark. I do feel alots better, I am at 216.8, and I have not been below the 220 mark for at least 20+ years. Back in July, I weighed almost 267, so I have now lost 50 pounds since then. People are starting to notice that I am really losing weight now. I have not been on the forum for quite some time, the computors have been giving us trouble. Maybe now I can get on here and let everyone know how I am doing. As soon as I got on here tonight, I went to your profile statistics to read your last post to see how you are doing. I noticed your ticker and I am so happy you lost more than what your goal was for Christmas. I hope you are doing ok! I want to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas!!
