  1. So I'm totally not a whey protein kind of person. Makes me nauseous big time. So I decided to make a healthy fruit smoothie for myself. I use frozen fruits, freeze Greek yogurt in silicone ice cube trays, v8 fusion light, ground flax seed (must be ground ), & green tea extract. Sometimes I use choc almond milk or vanilla instead of v8 fusion. So I'm curious besides whey protein what do yoi put into your smoothies?!
  2. I've figured out that I usually drop 10-12 lbs in a couple of weeks & then plateau for a couple of weeks. I'm a yr out & dwn 110 lbs.
  3. I started mushies about a week out. By 2 weeks out I was pretty much back to normal foods just smaller portions.

    No Restriction

    I had restriction after my second fill and it lasted about 5 weeks before I was in need of another fill. You will find restriction... I'm a year out and have had 3 fills, then an unfill, then 5 weeks later another fill. I'm pretty dang tight right now but I've lost 110 lbs in a year.

    Calories

    I range from 600-800 calories per day usually. I don't really track them anymore b/c it's hard to track such small portions, I literally eat a bite here and there.

    I am kinda nervous about my trip to Fiji in October. I am prob going to be @ goal by then, fingers crossed, but I plan to have a slight unfill if I'm still as tight as i am currently.

  15. Chest wall reduction is when they remove the arm pit & back fat, the 3 rd & 4 th boob I call it. It's a incision along ur back & side brra line.

  17. Congratulations on ur surgery! 4-6 was my 1 yr bandaversary. The first couple of weeks r rough. Take it easy... I took 2 wks off, I'm a nurse @ a hospital & it was hard when I went back. Can u have soft food like cottage cheese? That always helped give me a boost. Good luck on your journey ... I'm down 106 pounds in 1 yr! You're going to do great

    Ninja!

    Just have to let everyone know.... The ninja blender is awsome!!!! If you are a smoothie person you need to invest in one. I make smoothies with frozen greek yogurt (I freeze it in ice cube trays), frozen fruit, & almond milk (chocolate ).

    I hear u there! I always think to myself "if a stranger were to describe me would they say I'm a bigger girl still?" Granted I'm a 14 & do still have a good 30 lbs to get to goal.

    Fabulous! I'm currently in a 14 as well, down from a 26 1yr ago. Doesn't it feel good to venture into the "normal " clothing sizes!
  22. Ur arms look great! I'm scheduled May 3rd for brachioplasty & chest wall reduction. Not looking forward to the pain. Did u have to wear a compression garmet? My doc says I'll be in one for a month

    I stick to around 600 calories per day. I loose about 10 lbs a month that way. I usually start my day off with a smoothie & nipple the rest of the day.
  24. I set my main goal, 2 b 150 lbs, & then i set minthly goals of 7~10 lbs per month. This has kept me on track & with the exception of 1 month, which I had had an unfill, I have met this goal. Start weight :284 Pants: 24/26 Surgery date: 4-6-11 Current wt: 179 Pants : 14
