Why Do I Hate The Word "hubby" So Much?

If she called u her ol man it would be like that. Hubby is like you calling her wifey. Much less offensive in my book. Hubby has a nice warm feel when I type it about my man.

Federal Blue Cross And Plastic Surgery

I was approved TODAY for the panni part of my tumny tuck! I went to my pcp 1 time for "rashes" that i never really had. My ps sent in the pics they took of me and the office report from my pcp and i was approved super fast. Fep Blue is really the best! GOOD LUCK!!!
  6. Day 2 of this I went to the gas station and bought me a 33.8 ounce bottle of water at 6am. By 6.40 it's half gone. I love the timing thing!! I am up .6 pounds from yesterday, I got in 64 grams of protein and 80 ounces of water. I am going to push for 100 ounces of water today!! And I am going to put some fit TV on and get out my weights
  7. BTW Can I just say I HATE drinking water!!! This is the hardest thing for me. Not that I just have to have something else but like I would rather go with nothing at all than have to drink it..... I am working really hard on it though!! Any water advice would be great! I already know about mio, crystal lite, etc... I mean something that just tracks water, or someone to call me and be like DRINK NOW!! LOL
  8. Thanks!! The 64 oz of water is just before 3pm so I should be able to get in more than that I know I really need to step it up with the phys activity. My walking buddy (neighbor) totally quit talking to me out of the blue, we had been walking every day for almost 2 months... I haven't gotten back in the groove but I need to!! I need to find a new buddy!!
  9. I have had my first protein shake, 23 grams of protein and 4 carbs... then i had 1/4 a cup of shredded cheese, 0 carb 4 protein, now i am gonna have some pecans, a lot of calories but they are supposed to be anti inflamatory so maybe it will help reduce my tom swelling. gonna work on water in about an hour
  10. I am starting a OnederLand Crackdown today! I have been at 208-210 for the whole month of October. I am sick of being in the 200's!! I am cracking down. Tracking everything! Here is my strategy... While my son is in school my goal is to get in 64 oz of water and 64 grams of protein and stay under 10 carbs. For the first day or so (maybe more) I am going to replace breakfast and lunch with a protein shake. Then I will eat whatever I fix my family for dinner, measuring out 1/2 a cup of it. Tonight it will b potatoes gravy chicken and a small biscuit if i can fit it in half LOL. If I get hungry (I think its head hunger) I am going to try to ignore it or get some water. I would LOVE to get to Onederland before I go to see my family in 2-3 weeks. They haven't seen me since May and I don't remember my weight then (pre surgery) but I think I was about 260 so I have lost 50 pounds since then. I will be in Onederland somehow before I go!! Starting today at 210.2......... Goal 199.9-------I know the ticker says 207 but that was only for like 5 minutes I will get past there soon!
  11. WOW Drama!! Ok, IMHO I would go to a more known surgeon. There are several on here that charge around the same price for everything and there are TONS of Mexico patients on here that could tell you of their experiences. Good luck on whatever decision you make.

    Anyone from Alabama?

I went as far as getting my psyc eval, and sleep eval, then I switched to Dr T the next week. Within 1 month I had surgery. OK Time frame, my first appt with Dr Schmtt was around May 23, sleep eval May 30th, first visit with Dr T June 6th, Surgery July 8th!! WLS cures sleep apnea so I saw NO reason to have the sleep study. I have been put to sleep 2 times before with no complications so I knew this time would be no different. My sleep study would have been sometime mid July. I am so glad for my decision. When I went to Dr T, I had 1 visit with him, 1 with his nut, 1 pre op class WHICH IS FREE!!!, and I went to support group (NOT REQUIRED!!) Good luck with your decision! Lots of people have excellent surgery with Dr Schmitt. But I am so happy with my decision to switch.

    Anyone from Alabama?

How did your appt go with Kim Schmitt today? She probably recommended a sleep study right?? That's why I switched to Dr Touliatos at Trinity. I loved Dr Schmitt but I was not waiting a month for that sleep study!! I had my surgery with Dr Touliatos before my sleep study would have been!! I have lost 35 pounds in 9 weeks since surgery. I never get hungry and I feel full after about a 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of food.
  14. Thanks so much all of you!! I absolutely love reading all your posts and ups and downs!! You are all so inspiring!! My best friend is on the forum occasionally and she is going back and forth between bypass and sleeve. Her psyc told her she could never get to her goal weight with the sleeve. WHAT A CROCK OF ****!! I want to drive 6 hours and take him all your pics!! I love you all! Thanks for all the encouragement!!
  15. I am halfway to my goal from my starting weight. I am down 71 pounds so far!! 34 since my surgery 7-8-11
