    HELP! IT HURTS SOOOO BAD

There's no reason for the doctor to look at you like you did something wrong... and the nurses as well. That is so unprofessional. They need to get off their high horses and LISTEN - read between the lines to see if there's a serious problem. Like being dehydrated. If you are not getting enough liquids, they need to put that IV back in your arm so you can deal with the ice chips and not feel dehydrated. You're not gonna want to hear this, but - You need to get up and walk to get that gas out. It will be released through your skin. The more you walk the better. I was up and walking about an hour after surgery while all my CELL MATES didn't. I was the only one without the gas pain. It'll make you feel better, I promise! Force yourself to do so! Good Luck.
  3. Yep, get back to the doc as soon as possible so they can take out .5cc, instead of having to drain you. The longer you wait, the most irritated your stoma will become... basically more inflamed and then you are just taking steps backwards instead of forward. I would suggest going asap.

    band slippage

I had my lap band done in Aug 2007. I had a slippage because mine was over-filled. My new doctor and I worked hard to fix it WITHOUT surgery. It's hard to manipulate the band in this way, but we were successful. Can it happen again? Of course. Take care of your band. Don't over eat. Make sure you are following your doctors menu plan. Listen to your body. Everyone is different. Good Luck.
