    Counting Carbs -- Not!

The psych who talked to us at my seminar said that it doesn't matter what you did. What matters is what you did after you did what you did. In other words... what's done is done. Eat right for the rest of the day and tomorrow... and the next day. You ate the cup cake... let it go and move on. Good Luck

No since my first Dr. Visit... that is why I differentiated between starting date and surgery date, but either way a pound is a pound Woo hoo! Thanks for the thumbs up.

    Newly Sleeved 6/11/10

My Dr says full liquids day 3-14. I am 8 days post op and I get that feeling if I drink too fast or take my drinks too close together. It helps when I slow down. Goods Luck

I went to my post op appt with my surgeon yesterday and he said it would go down a little each day and should be gone in the next week. I was able to sleep on my side last night... what a relief. 12. My Dr. was Manuel Castro at New Beginnings Surgical Group. I didn't have a revision, but I was VERY happy with the care I got from him and with his office. His prices seem to be competitive and he is very professional. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions. Good Luck! Av

    Aetna is covering VSG

My surgeon's office handled it. I attended 3 group style meetings with the nut. and my seminar. That is all I had to do. You might call them and ask... but lots of plans are different. Good luck.

    Help with 5 year history...

I got my weight history from my gyn and that was sufficient. They kept track of it when I went for my yearly appointment so I had at least a yearly record. My insurance approved so .... it worked.
