  1. ooh...I joined a gym a few weeks ago, and I really like it. I just need to convince myself to go all the time! lol. sorry it has been so long...life gets so busy all the time! how's your progress going??

  2. So...I'm back. :) I won't lie...the last few months I haven't really been focused on being a healthy version of myself...so, a few pounds have crept back on. I'm not hopeless, but I am struggling a bit. Any suggestions for how to get back on track? Checking in here is my first step... :)

  4. Hi Sophia! :) I haven't been on here quite as much lately...avoidance, maybe? lol...I feel guilty about drinking the margaritas when I think about all the hard work I put into losing the weight. So...back to the grind...my weight is at least holding steady and not going up, but I really haven't lost in so long that it gets hard to keep with it. I'm hoping to get some fresh motivation soon. :)

  5. So if any of you are actually paying attention...lol...I didn't gain weight recently but finally broke down n got a digital scale so it's weighing me higher than before. Mentally it sucks but I'm holding steady weight-wise.

I'm exactly the same way...I feel like a failure for not getting to goal...I have about 20 to go...yet I also am really proud that I have lost 80...argh...I've been content to just eat what I want and not exercise as much lately, but this last week I've finally gotten my motivation back. I started tracking food on my iphone and that seems to be helping...good luck to you darlin!

  7. Lol...ironically, that is the guy that I was dating but we just decided to end things. Too many differences. So...back on the market! :) I'm ok with it, we were just different people with different personalities.

  8. So I'll put this out there - what's your thought on a few days of liquids only to get rid of my sugary cravings/habits? Is that "dieting" or is it a smart move? Is there a better option? I need to do something.......

How about patiently waiting for your body to adjust to its new weight? :) But excitedly waiting because you're so close. :) I'm starting an 8 week fitness challenge today. Measurements before and after. And I go to Vegas in about 8 weeks, so it's perfect timing. I'm excited because more cardio is really the thing I need to kickstart this process. Eek!!

  16. Thanks for the kind words hon. I have definitely slowed down. Same 5 pound range since Jan. But I've been carbing it up so I know why. Trying not to beat myself up and focus on my accomplishments but I struggle with that. Just so close to goal that I want to be there now! Lol

  17. Hey Deb, If you have time, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me some of the typical foods that you are eating now that you're a little farther out...my body is really stalling on me, and I am curious what others are doing who are still steadily losing weight! Any thoughts?

  18. Awesome NSV (non-scale victory...) Blood pressure last week was 120/70!!! Had been much higher than that earlier! Woo hoo!

  19. So happy Monday everyone...and my good news of the day: I bought size 12 jeans on Friday and they're not even snug!!! That was my goal from the beginning so it's a huge NSV!!

  20. Does third phase mean mushies for you? Anything you can smash with a fork? If so, try making a noodle-less lasagna...make a ricotta/cottage cheese mixture, add an egg for extra protein and add some italian seasonings (basil, pepper, oregano, etc.) then spread some tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese on top and bake! It's really yummy and you don't even need the noodles!

  21. I haven't stopped weighing every day...I can't help it...but plus I think it kind of keeps me focused on being healthy. I think if I don't keep it near the front of my mind then I slip into old habits...but that's just what works for me. I couldn't go until Thurs without weighing! :) But, if that's what you need to do, good luck!! :)
