Haa Haa Stary,I thought I was the only one peeling my nuggets. With having 2 lil ones Mc Donalds is a must every once in awhile and when we do go to McDonalds I get the samething except for the Coke zero. I've tried soda and it just doesn't taste right to me anymore.

IE- I always have a list weverytime I see my dr and its kinda funny because after he walks in I bombard him with my list and mark one question off at a time and then write my notes, he prolly thinks he's giving a class.
Tiff - I had bad bad bad acid reflux before surgery, I was on 2 different types of meds and I've continued to take one of them seeing its more powerful then Prilosec. I'm seriously thinking its my stomach trying to adjust to the small amounts of food and shes prolly yelling at me and pissed off, hee hee.
It was actually quite funny the other morning, hubby n I were snuggling in bed abd my stomach started guggling and talking and then his started, hee hee they were communicating.

Haa Haa, thats mine too. I'll be right next to my hubby and its gurgling, talking, making noises or whatever its doing. Let me tell you sumtimes it does get a bit loud and then the hubby thinks Im gonna burp or whatever, I'm like umm no honey its just my tummy saying it's completely happy now. So I guess it is the sleeve just processing stuff and what not.

Sorry but that nurse is correct, Im one week out of surgery and I lost a total of 16 lbs. You can't eat at all the first week its just liquids only so you cant help to loose weight. --leslie

yes they do fireworks off the mountain every year, they are so darn pretty too. I live about 10 mins from there

I know I haven't been on this forum much anymore but I figured I would post a lil something. Last week was my 2nd wedding anniversary (Halloween). When I got married I was 309 lbs and yes all my wedding photos (over 400) show how BIG I was. So for my anniversary my boss gave me a little cute black dress. Her and I talked in great lengths how I can surprise the hubby for our anniversary. Hubby never even knew I had the dress. I don't wear dresses, I'm a jeans girl. Last time I wore a dress was on our wedding day. All I told the hubby before getting ready to go to dinner was that I hope he likes his surprise, he looked at me with this confused look on his face, not knowing what I had in store for him. So I get ready and luckily he's a car guy so he's outside messing around in his suburban. I walked outside and his head pops up from the dash and I think he fell out of the truck. Well at least that's the way it seemed seeing he got out pretty darn quick. Needless to say we almost didn't make it to dinner :wink1:
I went from a size 24/26 to a size 6/8 and a size 3xl to a size s/m. From 309lbs to 148 (give or take)....I love love love my sleeve and I'm even going to be a guest speaker to the graduating bariatrics class on the 16th. Can life get any better then this???

Whoooo Hooooo Missy, isn't that the greatest feeling in the world when a towel wraps around u???? When in Vegas I ran out of the bathroom to show the hubby, . No more beach towels for us
