I was banded on December 20, 2010 by Dr. Jesse Lopez Jr. in Overland Park, Kansas. I have been wanting to have this done for several years but only recently had insurance that would cover the procedure. I am a single mother of one amazing little boy. After my divorce last January I decided that it was time to get healthy for myself and for my son. I want to be able to chase him and play with him without struggling. I don't want to hold him back because of my shortcomings. So here I am starting this new chapter in my life and looking forward to every moment! I am excited to learn and grow thru this and I look forward to getting to know some of you and your stories along the way!! Here's to NEW BEGINNINGS!!
