Are you measuring your food? I use either a 1/2 cup or a 1/4 cup, depending on how dense the food is, to make sure I don't overeat. Also, I tend to burp, letting me know that wall is coming. Some people also put there fork down between bites to see how the last bite sits. Good luck! Looks like you're doing well!

I think I've been in a stall, over a week with no recordable loss. Week 2 postop (but had a 2 week preop). I went up 2 pounds and then climbed back down by ounces and stayed for a couple of days. Just today am finally down 0.6 from my lowest over a week ago. We'll see if it's truly broken tomorrow! Hang in there!

Can I be added to Dec 31 medicyn?

Holy smokes--actually got in 836 calories and 144 grams of Protein today and only 55g carbs, 33g sugar and 8g of fat.
Still mostly liquid though--except for 0.25 oz of browned ground beef and a small banana--it was all liquid. But I'll take it because my calories just weren't high enough and I was beginning to feel draggy this week
NUT said this should definitely help. .

Please add me to December 18th! Had my one week follow up today! All is well. Down 25 lbs (including two week liquid diet) went straight onto soft foods. So far so good. :-)

Hi all - hope everyone is having a good day after Christmas day - I am feeling great today! AND I actually came back to work today. I do have a desk job, so not alot of strenuous activity, plus it is a short week.
It is very quiet around here. Many folks have taken the full week off, but since I was off last week and I only work 3 days next week figured it would be a good ease back into it. The few people that do know are here today also, so since so many are out, we were able to discuss freely how everything went. My boss said I was glowing and never would have guessed I had surgery because I looked healthy as I can be! My good friend - also a Tammy said she could already see it in my face and arms. I am glad I came back - gives me more time through out the rest of the year to use my PTO and to get some feedback from a few people.

Hi All! I am new to the forum and was sleeved on December 18th by Dr. Almanza at Hospital Jerusalem in TJ, MX. I am 8 days post op today and feel great! I had a few friends who had the surgery about a year ago and had a complete opposite experience than myself. I have been pain free since I woke up from the anesthesia and have had no issues with keeping anything down. I'm a 27yr old male, 6'2" with a starting weight of 341. Currently, I am down 23 lbs from my initial preop weight (13 lbs since the morning after surgery). I was originally scheduled for 12/19 but when I arrived for my pre-op blood workup, they had an opening so I took it! I ended up doing a 6 day pre-op liquid diet. I can honestly say that I did not have any issues or difficulties with it. I think I was mentally at a point where I was ready. It was a complete mind over matter type thing for me. Anywho, I look forward to reading all about your individual experiences and good luck to those who are still scheduled to be sleeved!
If anyone would like to know specifics about the MX experience, please dont hesitate to send me a message!

I pray that all had a very Merry Holiday Season thus far:). I just wanted to send up some special prayers for tomorrow's sleevers!
