I have Fed BCBS. Paperwork submitted 8/23;approved 8/27.

I have IBS too but have noticed w weight loss I have not had a severe episode requiring meds. I have not been sleeved yet but was wondering if u had any improvements since the sleeve?

Stokes, I switched yesterday after my PreOp w Dr. Reilly!!! I am getting sleeved on 9/21; according to the Dr office an approval from BCBS is for all so I am having the EGD done this Friday.

I went in for my PreOp appt today to go over the details for my upcoming LabBand surgery on 9/21 and I came out of the office getting the Sleeve. I was provided with a ton of information to read but after listening to the pros/cons, I decided to make the change. Wish me luck!

I went thru TrueResults; I have my preop appt w Dr. Reilly next week. So far everything has gone smooth...expecting the same post op.

My doc recommended EAS Myoplex in regular or lite...I actually like them now.

I am right there with you on this preop diet. We can do this!! I have found when I start thinking about food, i do something else to preoccupy myself. Take today, I am off from work, i picked up some movies to watch, went walking at the mall, etc...basically stay to busy to think about it. I am loving these chat rooms too!

I agree...you are not alone, i had those same feelings today...but now I am all better after reading a few posts and getting back on track mentally.

Thanks for the morning inspiration Fostermomma! I can do all things through Him who strengthens me...I'm gonna have to remember that as I am on the pre op diet for a bit.

Where are you located? Houston When did/do you get your band? On Sept 21 What do you like/look forward to do(ing) for exercise? everything i have been doing like strength training w my trainer, bodyworks class at LAFitness, Bootcamp without getting scared of the instructor and continuing Water aerobics (All at a faster pace and being able to do what the skinny peeps do too...like those lifts in awkard positions). What's your fave thing to eat? Before the band it was pepperoni/jalapeno pizza...now im starting to love breadless lean turkey burgers Fave music groups/artists/types? pop, hip hop, blues, a lil bit country, Kentucky bluegrass, rock from the 80's. What are you looking forward to? Keeping my promise to my grandmother to "get back to the way you use to be"...skinny/toned thanks to the NAVY Anything else you want to tell us? Loving the boards and all the support

The Labrada lean body made me sick to my stomach. I like the Myoplex regular and lite versions...thinking I'm just gonna stick with these two (choc version in reg and strawberry is tolerable in lite).

I had to hide my gummy multi vitamins from my teenaged boys...they treated em like gummy bears! The vitamins do taste great though.

I went w Dr. Chris Reilly via True Results. He has a practice too...off Richmond in Houston.
