Are you feeling tired all the time?

Yes, it’s pretty normal. Your healing & recovering from a pretty major surgery & feeling tired is yiur body telling you to rest to allow it to heal. Plus you’ve made considerable changes to your diet which takes a bit of getting used to as well. If you feel tired, rest. Don’t push yourself to do more. It does get better though you may still experience periods of tiredness at times. Try an electrolyte drink (I used hydralyte) to give you a little boost of energy on days when you have a few chores to do. Take some with you when you’re out or stop at a cafe and rest over a cup of tea. I did this often.

    pre surgery non scale victory

was 73.2 BMI january of this year… now down to 61.34. i have also shrink my belly from 72” to 59”… I can fit in places/cars soo much better… (Now if only my face fat would reduce!) the scale can be a stubborn thing, but staying the course or working harder has paid off each time the scale didn’t budge!

So I’m a newbie and my surgery is scheduled for next week on 9/27 and I’m wondering what the veterans recommend for activities to do with your partner after surgery. Date nights for us would usually be dinners, movies, or bar trivia. Movies I see how that can be adjusted by not eating bad stuff. But what kinds of things have you guys found to replace old habits/hobbies that revolved around food and/or alcohol?

    Re-sleeve

I had a sleeve in 2011. I had an Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty revision two weeks ago because I gained 45 of the 100 I lost back and was struggling with my sleeve. It was stretched a bit and I was eating too many carbs. I had to do something. So far I am on full liquids and its going well. Its like a resleeve but they do it from the inside with sutures so Its not as invasive. Easy recovery. I had some gas pains but they were not that bad. By day three I was doing really good. I had it on a Thursday and went back to work Monday.

    2 Months Post Op Food

On days where I’m tired of the food my stomach can tolerate, I just bake some squash and okra with some spices and have 1/4 cup as a meal. I’ve tried a lot of protein sources at 12 weeks out that aren’t working well so in order to not die of boredom, I’ve had squash for dinner probably 2 nights in the last month 🤷🏼‍♀️ dietician approved and all 🥳
