    Moisture under stomach flab

Me too. I use a powder, don't laugh, called, "Monkey Butt Powder" that is like a talc but better and to keep skin folds from getting moist and rubbing or getting yeast in them. You can get it at WalMart.

My sleeve surgery was 12/28. My dr protocol is only clear liquids the first week so I wouldn't worry about getting any food in at all. In fact it can be dangerous while your new stomach is healing. Focus on fluids only at this point. Good luck!

    Frustrated with my doctor's office!

I feel your frustration. I had surgery a week ago and was told at discharge to call my surgeons office to make a postop appt. And to call the Dietician to make follow up appts. I got the surgeons apt. 4 weeks out. However I've never recieved a call back from the dietician office and I left 2 vm msgs. ! I feel like they are not there to help at all. I was told at preop dietary mtgs. to follow the program book, but it is not specific enough to be helpful. TBH, I have found the answers I've needed this far from the vsg redditt community. Good advice from real people.

I also received a tummy tuck with lipo suction to my flanks (love handles) on Dec. 11, 2019. I'm doing well. The first week was rough. So much pain! In the past, had four c-sections and by the third day I was off all pain meds. --Not with this surgery! However, I'm very satisfied with the results and feel after losing 80 pounds that this was very needed.

For those who have had brachioplasty (arm lift), are you happy with the results? Do you mind sharing photos? My biggest concern is the long scar that inevitably comes from it. Thanks.

    Suggestions for compression garments

I had an extended arm lift Dec 16. My Dr gave me my compression garment so I'm not sure exactly which one it is but it looks like the one linked below. Has hooks in the front and the back. It's a good design. I've just struggled with it, but I think I would have had issues with any style. The point of the garment is compression and I just don't like all that tightness. Good luck with your surgery!

    Lower Body Lift Mexcian Style

Hello world! I am getting ready to schedule my trip from Alaska to Mexico to get a lower body lift. They want close to $40,000 to do this up here, so obviously, that isn't happening. Really looking at Dr. Carmina Cardenas. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with her and the facility? How long did you end up staying there? Any complications? Thank you in advance.

I also have lines where there were none before..... I don't think Oil of Olay is going to cut it!

I have thought about in the long term postponing but I don't want to get surgery and wear compression garments in the summer so early spring would be best. I really don't want to go another summer wearing 3/4 length sleeves to hide my arms. I am also thinking that if I don't have as much loose skin and fat on my arms then if my body changes a bit or if I gain a few pounds it could actually be better ie fill in my saggy boobs or wrinkly butt. That may just be wishful thinking and it would go straight to my feet or something bizarre.
