I know what both of you mean! I have felt and done the same thing! I wouldn't even put a picture on my LinkedIn or other SM profiles. I look forward to the before and after pics and the profile pics!
My surgeon said nice the same....when he broke it down he said it was great progress.... That being said, my group does not set goals. He did tell me what he thinks I might lose by next visit and after his first impression in 3 months we're right I do not doubt him. I have a 20 pound window I'll be happy with. I'm almost halfway there
It really does vary between each individual. I weighed more after surgery than I did the morning of simply because of all the fluids I had pumped in me going through recovery.
Weight starting 2 week pre-op diet: 336
Day of surgery: 318
Current (3 weeks post op): 296
I had about 5 chicken nuggets with ranch dressing. Never again! You're right about sleep. Lying down and sleeping makes it go away temporarily. The only drawback is that I can't drink water while I sleep. Lol
I was able to start on regular foods this week (I'm 4 weeks out as well) and also found i could get my protein goal in with just foods. Now I just need to keep up on my liquids [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
