Sort of. I've always dressed a little more alternative/gothic, but considering most of those fashions don't come in plus sizes I've mostly just made do with black leggings and black tops. Now, I'm a size 14 (uk) so I can actually start buying and wearing all the clothes I've always wanted to wear! I do think that I've gain more confidence since I lost weight and that means I've starting taking more time and put more effort into makeup and hair etc.

Looks delicious. We call Farro, Barley. Lovely stuff, great in winter stews. I make a salad with it and roasted vegetables. So inexpensive and tasty

ok. i'm going to go at this a different way: THEM: surgery is the easy way out. ME: yep, its definitely makes it "easier" for me than without it. but...why do you want it to be hard for me? do you want me to suffer or something? with that said, i only told Hubs, The Kid, Mom, Favourite Sister and super-BFF. of them all, only super-BFF leaned SLIGHTLY that weird way in her response: "it's like using CLIFF notes to write an essay. you can get away with not doing the work to read the book." i was a little taken aback with her reply, but not enough to stew over it. i'm 130 lbs less than i was before almost 7 years ago. i'm healthy, happy and HAWT. are you? *mic drop*

I think the first year I did the majority of experimenting with new clothes then again after plastics. I have pretty much settled into my style (bodycon/boho/athleisure) and everything that survived the final culling still fits. But I am a bit sad that I very rarely have an opportunity to wear the fancy clothes that I swore I needed.

So ladiesssssss surgery went well without complication. I have very minimal pain. The only pain that I feel is from the auxiliary fat removal the under arm fat that's really the only pain that I feel and even that pain is minimal. My breast although they're sitting up in my neck right now 😂😂😂, they look to be very perfect for my body frame. He done very well. They will settle in a few months. He has a good eye. He done well. I will say I'm very impressed by the whole process the doctors are great, they are very technology forward here. The doctors and nurses are very smart, attentive. and precise. Medellín Colombia as a city is very beautiful their malls I love their mall. They have more stores more quality clothing than the mall that I've been to in the US. I'm really impressed. In all ALL is WELL!

I realized I never shared my "Jambalaya Soup". Yes I realize jambalaya isn't actually soup, but it had a lot of the same ingredients, including cajun spices, so I took a little liberty here. If you're Cajun or Creole, please don't come at me!

I bet you’ve tried a lot of diets and tried many different exercise plans & I bet you’ve were committed to them too but didn’t continue because they didn’t work for you or were to restrictive or had negative side effects, etc. If diets and exercise programs alone worked no one would be obese. People have to change their thinking about how they look at obesity. Obesity is a disease. There are psychological, physiologically, emotional, genetic & other complex & nuanced factors behind obesity. Unless your critics are obese they cannot understand what you have experienced. If you had a respiratory disease, heart disease, cancer, etc. would they say you’re cheating or taking the easy way out by having surgery or taking meds?? You have made a choice to become healthier. You have made a choice to be there for your family and friends for a long time. You have made a choice to be able to live your life as you want to live and enjoy it. Weight loss surgery is not an easy way out. There is no easy fix. Surgery opens the door to an opportunity. What you do with that opportunity is up to you and the long term effort you apply to it. Good on you!
