  2. I can SO relate to you!! My surgery is June 3rd (in just days) and I am SO terrified that I won't be able to overcome my binge eating I, like you, can eat a whole bag of chips in one day... I NEVER feel full until I am almost sick from eating! My starting weight was 287, now I am 275, so I must be doing something right, but my mind keeps thinking about "food funerals" before my surgery, and this is a very warped way of thinking, in my opinion (as applies to myself). Today is the first real day I have felt that fear, and I don't like it! Congrats to you ~~ you have done an amazing job ~~ you should be very proud!
  3. Haven't had any vision changes. Hopefully it's not something serious. Sent from my Moto E (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

    Buyers remorse

OK, so this sounds totally dumb, but I am self pay, and my surgery date is June 3rd, which is only days away!! I dropped off the check to my surgeon this morning when I had my Pre-admissions work-up completed, and now I am freaking out.. Scared, overwhelmed, nervous, anxious, excited, happy, elated, and just any possible emotion you can think of.. But the main emotion I am feeling right now is FEAR!! And I can't even explain why.. I have been heavy all my life -- I am 5'5" and I weigh 275 lbs. for goodness sakes! I think I am scared of failing, and not overcoming my food addictions. And I have searched high and low for just ONE person that regrets this, and I haven't found that person yet, so everything in my brain is telling me I am doing the right thing, but I am STILL SCARED... Advice please???
  6. Grady Cat has her cookies, it was my Family sized Honey barbeque Potato Chips from Frito- Lay. No wonder they could afford to ship them in, I kept them in business! And the sad thing, I didn't even feel full!

    No requirements????

So I just called my insurance AGAIN for like the hundredth time cause I need to make sure. I was told that no prior authorization is needed and the only requirement other than the BMI is BRS Called BRS and they said the service is actually optional. I’m so confused.

    NSV's Spring 2019 Edition

And no I have no clue who Mat Hong is. Maybe a Chinese design person or an Asian actor?

    NSV's Spring 2019 Edition

Well I have an unexpected NSV today. I have had hung back a pretty robin egg blue outfit, Capri pants, a lacy feminine blousy top, a 44B mat Hong bra and panty set. Don't know why I think I have to be gift'-wrapped to go to the doctor's office but bear with me. I started by trying to put on the bra. OMG the "girls Underfill the cups and the band is LOOSE! What flippin" size am I anyway? There is one remaining store in my general area(well in Newark-23 miles South) who has a Bra- Fitter, guess I shall have drag my formerly fat, now flappy, floppy loose-skin self there, and humble myself to be measured. So needless to say, if that didn't fit , I went no further with THAT outfit. Maybe I will be like Aunt Myrtle, she used to fill her cups with tissues to look bigger. At least, if my nose runs I won't be without something to wipe with!👈👸👉
  11. A lot of eating disordered people are reacting kind of stunned after having crawled out of their deepest hole, regardless of what eating disorder it was. Compulsive eaters or binge eaters can't believe how much they ate, bulimics can't believe how much money for food they purged down the toilet, anorexics can't believe how they managed to subsist on so little food while exercising without end etc. etc. etc.

May Day # 22 Get dressed up: I've actually been getting "dressed up" every workday for about a month now. I normally work from home and live in jeans and yoga pants, so going to client site forces me clean up a little weekday mornings, LOL. It's all good though, cuz now I have an excuse to wear heels. 17 pushups: Done. + 17 squats + 17 situps
  13. Hi. I am on POD # 3 (surgery 5/20). I had a decent amount of nausea especially when I went to the bathroom or walked. I had pain about 6/10 for the first post-op day. They gave me IV pain meds and nausea meds. I also slept the entire post op day # 1 except to do my walks. i have taken about one pain pill at bedtime.the nausea is much better as well.

  17. Thanks for sharing. I sometimes can't believe how many cookies I used to eat.
  18. I'm 6 days out now and I have found the pain manageable. Even in hospital, I was initially doing ok with minimal pain meds until I got the hiccups. Then I needed some help and did a few doses of morphine. They sent me home with an RX for tramacet, but I used less than half. The only nausea I experienced was mild, the first couple of trips to the bathroom on the first evening post op. No vomiting at all so far (knock on wood). March 2019 sleepers

Girl same. Mine was Mar 11 SW 261 CW 217 GW 150 ---- so super close to you. I feel like I'm doing a little worse actually. But yes... I feel like it's sooooo slowwwww and my next follow up is on Monday...and I always weigh more on their scales. It's so depressing. I've hit another stall just now...which sucks because I was stuck at 225 forever...then dropped to this about 2 weeks ago... and now...nothing.
