June 15, 2013

Lost 17 lbs 30-Days post op

I am still feeling a bit tired through the day, but trying (REALLY trying) to get myself talked into hitting the gym this week as I will be starting Week 6 post op.

I believe once I start to regularly exercise and increase my water that I will see some smoking results (ie, more consistent loss, eliminating cottage cheese dimpling, etc)

metabolic lapband failure was happening - fall 2011

I was 180 lbs here and seemed to be forever stuck. Then the weight all creeped back on until I hit 212 lbs the day of my VSG revision

85% of stomach removed. Blown up with gas to check for leaks.

Mr Lapband....my nemesis is laying just to the left after being removed. Nothing but problems with my lapband the last three years of having it in.

I have been reading that our stomachs can hold as much as a football, which makes it easy to understand how easily we can overeat.

I find this amazing.
