Congrats on your approval!!! I get banded Aug. 23. My dr. doesn't require a pre-op diet either but I am choosing to do it anyway just so there will be no complications and I can shrink my liver (the whole reason behind a pre-op diet). In my mind I feel like I need to do it.

Congrats, i get banded Monday 6:00am 8/13/2012 starts a new life. Even if your Dr. doesn't ask you to do the pre-op diet, still try it, it's best for your body before surgery.
