:rolleyes:Yes I am smilin, now in a size 12 (although they are little tight) and it feels so good.

I was in a size 24W (packed in) when I started this journey 8 months ago today! I have been at times ready to throw in the towel, but I held on tight! In a few weeks and a few more lbs, I will get into these new clothes with ease!

If you are just beginning, or just thinking about having the LapBand and you are unsure, let me tell you, get a positive attitude, don't let anyone talk you out of it, and just get with the program after the surgery and make everyone get out of your way and go for the goal! You will be so glad you did! Lovin my BAND!

That's so funny, we had similar experiences today. Yay for the size 12, how great. I don't think I've EVER worn a size 12. You're right about the positive attitude - it makes all the difference in the world!

I am happy for you. You have come along way and have a very successful story of being a lapbander. It sure build's one's self esteem, not to mention looking fabulous. A remarkable story, and I am happy for you.

I LOVE my band too!! I am so happy for you, I know how it feels. It is nice to have your arms just hang down next to your body and not feel like they are sticking out. It is that thinner feeling I am getting used too and I like it a lot. Congratulations to you we are both working so hard playing with our bands and we are making great music together. I love to follow your blogs. Best wishes imaluckydog

Congrats Janet! You are such an inspiration to me. And the same goes for imaluckydog, giby97 and grizzlyrider. I love reading all four of your blogs. I was banded 2.4.10..........5 lbs and I'll be under 300....... down 35 lbs ( 13 of that's since surgery) thanks for all your advice and positive comments!

I am in the process of deciding whether to have Lap Band surgery. I have to admit I am a little scared, not about the surgery more a fear of what if this is on more failed attempt to loose the weight.

How does it feel after the surgery? Do you still get hungry? What makes it work for you?

I have 79 days before my surgery to go.. which means a lot of time to be thinking all kinds of fears up in my head. It is so terrific to read everyone's success stories, because they keep me on track in the right direction! I know that it's going to be a task to take off 250lbs+ but hearing everyone's journey gives me hope for mine. Imagine, size 12. I can't.. not yet, but maybe one day soon! Thanks Janet :-)
