May 2010-I have attended a seminar and got my paperwork rolling along. Then my fiance found out he had a brain tumor and a kidney tumor and AAA (aneurysm) that required emergency surgery. Due to all this my surgery has been put on hold until all three of his surgeries are complete. I WILL have my lapband done, as I have osteoarthritis in both knees and have been told I need replacements. So I want to lose weight so the replacements will last a very long time.... My determination has not dimmed....
 
May 2016-After years of grieving for  my fiance that died Oct 2010, I took that big step and went to the surgeon and got the ball rolling.  My surgery is scheduled for my birthday--I think that is appropriate considering all I have gone thru in the last 5 years...  This forum has really helped get my back on the fast track to a new life....
