I am a serial dieter as so many of us probably are.  I can lose 30 pounds really well only to be derailed or stall out and get frustrated.  My whole life, I have been assured by those who love me  that I will be successful one of these times, but I'm getting mighty tired of failing.  In January I contacted a local bariatric surgeon and now am on track for a lap band.  I have been doing the 6 months of supervised weight loss so far as an insurance requirement.  I have lost nearly 30 lbs.  I am nearing the end of that time and cannot wait to be banded.
