I am 68 years old, living alone as a widow. I had gastric sleeve surgery 9 months ago at NYU Langone.
I only lost about 38 lbs. since then. I am increasing protein, which seems to help with weight loss. My biggest problem is that I take several pills and vitamins. Since some of the pills are large, I take them with apple sauce.I have to take the others at mealtime. I drink water or Bai drink with these pills, but I have pain, since it is required to drink and eat within a few minutes.
What is the best way to avoid pain?
