HI there!!  My name is Kate and I am 28 years old. I started my weight loss journey 10 years ago. I used to be a very tiny girl, lowest weight was 115lbs in highschool and then I got my gall bladder out. Once that happened I blew up,and haven't been able to to stop gaining weight. I have tried everything from counting calories, weight watchers to physicians weight loss. I have had 2 spinal fusions, the most recent one in october and have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease - so will more than likely have to have another one in the future. I have Hypothyroidism, PCOS, and SVT. I started my gastric sleeve surgery when I got to my heaviest weight of 230lbs. I am only 5'3 so I am considered 100 lbs overweight with sleep apnea and weakness in my legs, trouble walking long distances (some portion is caused from my neck fusions, but a lot is my weight) I am so ready for this surgery which is 12/17 and i start my liquid diet on 12/02. I cannot wait. I just found this website/app and I am so excited to have found this - i feel that this website is going to help me get through this tough transition. Any advice I would appreciate, and I would love to help anyone who needs it :)
