Hello! I came across this wonderful website searching for a sharp pain that occurred to me on my 4th day of post-op. After realizing that I just overdid myself that day of doing some dishes and cleaning the kitchen counters, I had overextended myself that day. Lesson learned! I laid down with a heating pain and voila; I was much better by morning! For my new journey in my life, I have been thinking about this issue of mine for sometime. My PCP had suggested it as well and was nothing but supportive of me including family of course! Most importantly, my son. I haven't had the chance to look at this whole wonderful site yet, but I so far from I have seen, I am happy that I have stumbled on to Bariatric Pal! From pains to recipes, I have enjoyed what I have seen so far; especially chilli! Now, a little bit about me: I am a single parent of a senior in high school, to which I can't believe that I am now a mom to a senior! My son and I are HUGE Star Wars Fans; so to all of those who are thinking of changing your life for the better, or currently doing pre-op, or just like me, a post-opter, May the Force be with You on your new journey!
