I'm 42 years old, live with my significant other and our 4 children. I have wanted a gastric bypass for years. I tried about 2 years ago only for my insurance to deny me right away saying I was not in enough pain.... Say what ? No one asked me about my daily pain! Well long story short new doctor and he got me approved for stage two right away! I'm about half way through my 6 month insurance required journey and met my surgeon. Just a few more tests and the last of required NUT And counseling and PT to go! Looking forward to being a loser. So far pre-op lost 32 pounds and been smoke free for 4 months.
