Hello!
My name is Cara and Im 52 years old and am awaiting insurance approval for gastric sleeve. I am very excited. I have been thinking about if for close to 2 years.I am right on the line with a BMI of 36 but I have diabetes and am a cancer survivor and the type of breast cancer I had is fueled by fat and sugar.
I have spent my whole life battling weight and feeling like a failure with every failed need the restriction that weight loss surgery can offer. I am not afraid of death, I am afraid of not living. Not seeing my daughter get married and see grand children one day.
I like forward to the day of no aches and pains from carry 80 extra pounds and to not be controlled by food.
