Hello! My name is Amy and I had a Gastric Sleeve approximately four months ago. My recovery has been quite a journey, but I am down 53 pounds and counting. At this point, I am finally feeling pretty good. Since the body's metabolism drastically changes after surgery, it can really throw the body for a loop (it certainly did mine)! Although I think it's important to educate yourself as much as possible about the surgery and recovery process, also, keep an open mind because you won't truly know what your recovery is going to be like until you're going through it.
