My name is Lindsey and I am 18 years old, I got the gastric sleeve surgery on June 24th, 2015. I am extremely out going and was honestly never bullied because of my weight even thought I very easily could have been. My family like lots of others placed a lot of importance on food, we never went out for a hike or out for a swim or out to do something active, when we went out it was for food.
I never formed the relationship between health and activities and I strongly believe that is how I got so big at such a young age.
