Hi my name is Brent and I had the VSG WLS on 4/21/15. My surgery was done in New Iberia, Louisiana by Dr. Thomas Boreland. He has been fantastic and very helpful along the way. I have struggled with weight since I was a very young age. My heaviest was 305lbs and my surgery weight was 294lbs. My current weight as of 4/28/15 is 286. That's 19lbs between my preop diet and the first week post op. I look forward to meeting other people that have had the VSG and look forward to building a great support group.
