hi everyone...
I had a lap band in November of 2013 was turning 50 and a diabetic..my daughter and son both had bariatric surgery and were successful..I had high hopes of losing 50 pounds..The surgeon wanted to know why I didn't choose roux en y ..I wanted something reversible and I didn't need to lose 100 plus pounds..long story short..the lapband did NOT work for me and I ended up gaining 30 pounds even following ALL the rules..I had extremely low metabolism..wanted to convert to roux en y..Insurance said I needed to wait 2 years..

Well here I am..had surgery Feb 10 2015..starting weight at Dr 267..my scales at home are different and I have lost 15 pounds to date..the weather here in Ohio is -30 wind chill so walking outside is impossible..trying to find alternative spots..

I was in a car accident May 2014 and have been off work since I had back surgery August 2014 and need neck surgery..Dr hoping weight loss will prevent neck surgery..I am usually an outgoing bubbly person but since the accident I have severe panic attacks and PTSD..I am looking forward to hopefully making friends on here and finding some emotional and post op support

would love feed back from anyone about protein powders...having hard time getting enough..
