After years of sitting on the fence about weight loss surgery I finally had "the talk" with my doctor in 2015,  It too a bit but I managed to be accepted onto one of the two programs in my province that are paid for my the government medical program.  After 9 months of couselling I had my gastric sleeve surgery in July 2017.  So far -- so good.  I have managed to avoid a lot of the problems some folk have and only seem to have lingering constipation and some gastric reflux -- both controllable if I REALLY pay attention to what I am doing.  I wish  you all the best of luck in your journeys and look forward to discussing how we can all get there and get healthy!
