I’ve always struggled with weight. But even being overweight, I was active! Mountain climbing, hiking, rafting, walking miles everyday just to enjoy the sun! When I was a freshman in college, I was on a small hike and I broke my ankle. I put on some weight. Not long after that, I developed a autoimmune/thyroid problem and PCOS. I began gaining weight and developing other health issues. I spiraled in depression(tightly linked to my poor health). I’ve tried many times to undo the damage, to get healthy, but I needed help. And this year, I was presented with that chance! Three months ago, I decided to look into the gastric sleeve! Now everything is in place and I'll be getting the surgery soon!I'm so ready to get back to the mountain climbing, river swimming girl I once was!Fearing:Hair lossSkin and teeth problemsComplications during surgeryNot being able to have it laparoscopicallyExtra skinLooking forward too:Getting my PCOS/thyroid problems under control Being fitRock climbingShopping in normal storesEnergyHealth
