In May 2014, I decided I wanted to REALLY do something about this weight... I was always running around and doing things but the weight never came off... I was willing to do whatever they told me... I went to the introductory session and met the surgeon that was going to do my surgery (so I thought)... I met nutriontists, went to monthly weightloss meetings, cardiologists, psychiatrists, pulmonary drs, pcps. I've had x-rays, blood work, endoscopy's, 2 sleep study tests, ekgs, more blood work, and stress tests.  
 
My dr left the practice in  my month 3... I didn't like the other dr left and so I looked for another dr... I thought I would have to start over, but my new dr, Dr Anita Courcoulas and her team, were WONDERFUL.  By month 4, I had a surgery date and I still wasn't cleared totally.
 
Well, my last appointment was yesterday... I had to get another medical clearance and blood work done... Well I got the call from my hospital this afternoon that MY INSURANCE GAVE ME THE CLEARANCE... I was in total shock... I didn't think it would come back that fast. So my surgery for December 23rd, 2014 is a GOOOOOO!
