Had a physical with my PCP in May and asked her about weight loss surgery.  She then referred me to Dr. Patrick Chiasson in Tucson, AZ.  I went to the Weight Loss seminar the beginning of June.  The seminar had alot of useful information.  I decided to go with the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy.  Had my first appointment with my PCP on June 20, 2014 at a HW of 387.  I then had month 2 and 3 appointments scheduled.  Lost a total of 48 lbs Prediet so far.  I also have my Psych eval and Nut Eval.  I even had to have a EGD done.  That came back normal.  My lab work shows i was Vit D deficient.  I am now taking Vid D supplements.  on Sept. 22, 2014, Dallas, my surgical coordinator put in the request for my VSG surgery.  On Friday, Oct 3, 2014, i called my insurance company and they advised me that I was approved for surgery.  I have a tentative date of surgery on Nov. 12, 2014.  This was the best news I have gotten all week.
