I haven't had wls yet but I am in the process that my insurance requires before approval. I have four children. I've decided wls is something for me because for a number of reasons. First I've always been a heavy person. It runs in my family. I just really want to be healthy. I have lost a lot of weight in the past but for one reason or another have gained it all back and more. My mother has diabetes and although I don't have it yet it's likely that I will if I don't get my weight under control. Also my children deserve to have a healthy mom and I want to be an active part in their lives. I'm sick of being a sideline mom! I am a cna which means I'm standing on my feet for 8-12 hours a day. I've gotten used to my feet aching but recently my knees are starting to be very painful. I can no longer squat down and get up quickly like before. They lock up when I do and I have to pull myself back up which is awful. I'm so used to playing around on the floor with my children but now I have to sit and watch. For me my weight has been an issue but recently my body has just given up I guess u could say. I'm feeling more tired and in pain more. So those are the main reasons why I'm trying to get the sleeve. I know this all sounds like I'm complaining. I'm not trying to I'm just telling what's going on with me. :)
