Hello..

I have just completed my visit with my surgeon to prepare for my surgery (Gastric Sleeve) on August 15 2014. My 47 Birthday!

I am very anxious and hope that I can find the support needed to stay focused and not worry so much. I know that this is the right choice for me, but the worry still creep into my mind.

I am beginning the pre op routine of eating less, losing 10 lbs, incorporating more protein into my diet, multivitamin and calcium supplements, taking more time to eat, stopping the drinking of soda. I am on my second say of this and I have to say.... for the first time in years...I feel hopeful. :D

I will be reading all your stories and hope that I can share mine with you, also.
