I'm waiting to hear back from the bariatric coordinator as to the next step, presenting my documentation to the insurance company. I'm hopeful that they will accept the letters that I have provided documenting 6 consecutive months of a physician supervised weight loss plan. If I can get the approval, I am more than ready and willing to get this show on the road!! Not sure if anyone here has had an experience with Blue Shield of California or not, and would be willing to discuss what their experience was and how "demanding" and "specific" they were regarding the documentation.[/font][/size]

[size=4][font=tahoma]I've struggled with being overweight for about the last 10 years. I've tried every imaginable weight loss program and I've lost weight with some of them, but have never been able to keep the weight off permanently.[/font][/size]

[size=4][font=tahoma]I've chosen Dr. Marc Zare as my bariatric surgeon. He seems extremely knowledgeable and a great choice for my surgery.[/font][/size]
