Well let's see, My name is Crystal and I am 25 years old. I've been over weight my entire life despite the fact that I was very active as a child and teenager and finally decided to take control of my weight and health after many years of feeling unhealthy. I started my vertical sleeve journey in November of 2013 after a friend of mine had great success with hers. I've recently been scheduled for surgery on August 18th 2014 and I am excited but also frightened. During this pre surgery process, I've learned so much about my body and the reason I retain so much weight. Seeing the Nutritionist was by far the most rewarding aspect of the pre-op journey. From the surgery, I hope to gain health and just a little more happiness and confidence with the way I look and feel about my body. Yes health is the number 1 thing I'm looking forward to but also to finally be comfortable in the skin I"m in.
