Hi my name is Victoria and I have been looking into weight loss surgery for about 4 years now. I have finally decided that I want to go through with it.....I think? I am 24 years old stand about 4'11 and weight about 250 lbs. I went to visit with Dr. Patel in San Antonio Texas in November of 2013 he recommended that I get the gastric sleeve it only has been recent that I have been researching up on it and seeing what it all initials not just the surgery part the pre op and post op as well. my main concern is that post op diet. I'm so in love with food that I really don't know if I would be able to follow it. If I get the surgery of course I would have no choice but to follow it because if not I could die, but I do not want to put my family through the emotional pain of the roller coaster of my emotions of not being able to eat what I want and getting upset when I see people eat and I'm not able to eat what they are. I have really bad emotional problems to begin with and my family has to live with that on a daily and they have come to accept those emotional problems. oh well I'm just rambling now so I might as well stop. thanks for reading.
