I've been overweight practically my whole life. I was always just a bit chubby until my dad passed away. My coping mechanism was to eat for comfort, and thus, my chubby body transformed into an obese body, and I haven't ever been able to lose it. I've been through hell and back, and I decided that having WLS would be the one thing that I can do for myself to again feel in control of my health and self-confidence. I owe it to myself to fight for the life that I want, and this is my first step to get there.
