I'm a 50 year old woman, happily married (2nd time), with 2 sons, 2 grandgirls and a pretty supportive family.  I questioned even telling them about this, because I've failed so many times at significant weight loss, I simply couldn't see myself telling them about yet ANOTHER attempt.  
 
I've tried Weight Watchers, Atkins, I've tried doing it on my own, I've tried prescription meds from my Dr, I've tried tried and TRIED!  Each time, I can't get past a certain point. My weight loss comes to a screeching HALT!  I've exercised, walked, obsessed and counted calories and points.  This is seriously my last hope.  Tomorrow is my VSG surgery and I simply can't WAIT to see how my results are going to be, hoping for the same from MANY of the people I see on this website/app!
 
My father is currently dealing with diabetes, possibly will lose both of his feet, high cholesterol, skin cancer, and heart bypass surgeries, I have to do EVERYTHING in my power to not have my story follow the same path. 
 
With all my experience, knowledge and determination I've gained from the last 35 years of my life of being obese and being on diets, I KNOW this is my time to be healthier, more active, confident and happier than ever before!
