I'm a wife, mother of 3, grandmother of 3 and a 911 dispatcher. I've struggled with my weight since my mid-twenties. I was taught growing up that food was the answer to everything and every emotion. The lightbulb finally went off when I realized how much I was missing out on with my family. I started researching procedures and surgeons in my area. It took me a year to decide to finally make the appointment. It was the best decision I made! I knew from the beginning that there would be work involved and surgery was a tool to success. I now eat to live, not live to eat. My asthma has greatly improved, the joint pain has eased, and I have energy.
