I was banded in 2006 and only lost about 30 pounds. I was unfilled in 2007 because I was pregnant. Refilled in 2008. Unfilled again in 2013 because I was so frustrated with my band and just needed a break.
I have gained 40 pounds since I was banded originally. I think my main issue is that I learned how to "eat around the band" and got back into bad habits. But I'm getting refilled and am going to try to do it right this time. Why have the band if you're not going to use it, right?
