I had a lapband put in in April 2007, I had a lot of success with the band and during that time I had three babies. Also in this time I experienced personal tragedy and it was then that I and the band failed. I looked for comfort food which was flavoured milks, ice-cream and chocolate. Together the band and I failed, making the band ineffective - resulting in basically a life of bulimia. In November 2013, I had the band removed in preparation for a sleeve. On April 9, I took another leap of faith and have now had a gastric sleeve done. I await for a new chapter in my life to begin...
