Had lapband surgery 2/2013, lost 66 pounds then started being able to eat more and gained 20 pounds back.  I went in and had 1 cc of fluid put in my band after 2 years of having the band. I had nothing but issues after the fluid was put in, so I had the fluid taken out. I continued to have problems eating, throwing up after my meals. I eventually couldnt get applesauce to go through the band. I lived on soup. I then went to Dr. Marr and was approved to have revision surgery to the sleeve. I am currently 3 weeks post op sleeve surgery. Its definitely a different world then the band. Dr. Marr told me that my band was into my liver and it had my esophagus elevated which is probably why I couldnt eat. I'm so glad its gone.
