My mom had RNY 8 Dec 2009 and has had wonderful results. I don't want the same drastic results she's had but I know it's time to get some help. I've been overweight most of my adult life and  since having kids, I have been unable to maintain my weight at all, despite exercises and reasonable eating. I mean, dang, since July I've gained 20 lbs and I've been walking EVERYWHERE and paying a ton of attention to my diet. Bloodwork has been done to make sure there wasn't any underlying issue with my thyroid and since there's not, I feel it's time for medical intervention. I found a few blogs about some peoples experience since becoming a bandster and I wanna be in the loop, I'm not searching for information locally so I can get going with my own process.
