I was sleeved 3/15 and I scramble them English style. Use a small saucepan and spray non stick olive oil. Crack egg in saucepan then put stovetop on medium. Constantly stir and when it gets thicker take off heat (constantly stirring) for about 5-10 seconds. Keep doing that until the eggs are soft. I have been eating them since I started purée on Wednesday and haven't had any issues. It's my favorite thing to eat!!! Good luck- let me know if it works for you!

I'll try this! I'd hate to not be able to eat them. I love Breakfast for dinner! Thank you for this!

My surgeon says Ricotta Bake is more soft foods so I still have 1 1/2 week for that. Can't wait!!!

I'll test it this week. If it's too soon, I'll wait until the following week to try it again. The consistency seems like it might be okay. I'll keep you posted.

I do agree with you on that part. Definitely let me know because it's one of the things I have been so excited to try! [emoji4]

I did a small taste test pre-op...it was yummy! Like lasagna without the noodles. It was super easy to make and freezes well.

I add a little cheese and some taco sauce then heat it up. So good!!!!

Thanks for the suggestion! I have cheese but I'll have to buy taco sauce.

Or if you have salsa you can strain it so it's just the juice.

Maybe I'll try salsa instead. Hopefully the new stomach will agree with it. If not, I'm stubborn and will try again on a couple of weeks.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
