Hello, I had RNY on 1/23/17 so I am 6 weeks out. I've notice that I can eat a lot of salad... my papaerwork says not to eat more than 4-6 ounces at this point, but I'm able to eat like 5oz of salad. With other things I can usually eat about 4oz and I don't get that full feeling, but I am satisfied so I do not eat more that what I'm allowed. I'm just a little worried because I'm in the "regular foods" stage and I'm seeing most people say that their punch only holds 2-3oz. Should I be concerned?

Its actually what you eat. Salad is lighter more of a liquid, and when chewed it becomes very small. If you tried to eat something dense like meat- 5oz you would be able to. It changes by what you eat. Ive noticed some things i can eat 4 oz others i can eat 2 and feel full. Dont worry you havent streched your tummy yet!

Thanks for the response, i'm actually starting to notice this as I add more variety to my diet. It's a huge relief because I was nervous at first.

Agree with this, I eat a lot of Soup and I can eat a pretty big bowl of it because it's mostly liquid. When I eat just meat and a veg I eat a MUCH smaller amount total.

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
