So today I had my consultation with my surgeon today and everything went great. I thought I had my mind set on the sleeve but the dietician said go with the bypass so thats what I'll be doing. I went straight to the market to buy healthy foods since I start my 6months of nutrition classes next month. Seems like forever but I know I know that it'll be worth it

Welcome and congratulations! I too switched from sleeve to bypass because I suffered from severe reflux.

I am 22 months post op and have been at goal since March of this year.

That 6 months will go by super fast and is a great opportunity to change behaviors and set yourself up for success. Trust me, getting a handle on it early will certainly make for a better long term result.

Wow thank you. Do u still have severe reflux? I am def working on my diet and actually chewing my food. Surprises me how full I get now. Never know how slowing down while eating was so important. How was your pain after surgery?

I too had my mind set on the sleeve and they said I should do the bypass I do have acid reflux but I need to take anti inflammatory meds so I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
