Approved for Surgery! Surgery date Aug 29! Any other Canadians here?

Hi Everyone,

I just found out I am approved for surgery, and have a surgery date!! I am traveling to a center of excellence in Mexico for my surgery. I am full of so many different emotions, but the biggest one is excitement!

My surgery is scheduled for August 29th. I am really excited/nervous...and a whole mess of other emotions. It's FINALLY all coming together. I'm done caring about what other people think of my decision. This was not an easy decision, or me taking the "Easy Way" out. Thanks for the congrats The well wishes mean a lot. You are doing really well since your gastric sleeve. If you could tell your preop self one or two things you wish you knew before surgery what would it be?
