How long did you lose weight for?

Recommended Posts

@@Kittymappus At 10 months I was probably close to 1400 calories a day, doing cardio 5 days a week. I know I had to quickly push up over 1100 calories a day in order to do any sort of intense cardio and once I got to the point where I was running 5k's again, I needed closer to that 1400 mark.

Hello Everyone,

It's been a while since I have been on here. It will be 2.5 years in June. I was steadily loosing until November 2015. And the holiday pounds crept up on me and I gained 10lbs. It might as well be 50lbs. I am determined to NOT gain any more weight, but boy it's hard to get it off. I have started running and working out again, but it SUCKS. I look in the mirror and see those pounds trying to creep back up. I refuse to get back where I was. REFUSE! Now when I feel like I'm lazy I look in the mirror (and sad as it sounds) I am disgusted that I let myself gain it. The good thing is I now know what my major weight gainers are.....CARBS....those EVIL carbs. That I cut out 100%. They came knocking at my door all nice and sweet. Well, they just got the door slammed in their face! It's not happening. I used to like looking in the mirror, but those 10lbs have GOT TO GO!!!!! Good luck to everyone!

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
